My Roommates

Uncategorized Add comments

Well my three roommates here in my first hostel are two 25-year old girls and a 27-year old travelling by themselves. Fancy that! One is a Belgium girl going to school on Australia, and the other is an Indian girl (with a dot not an arrow) from San Francisco and another girl from Berkley. The first is really sweet and immediately asked if I wanted to go get food and if I had plans the next day. Anorher has literally done the exact same route I plan on doing but in the reverse direction. I just met the third.

For those who don’t know, below is my route.

Santiago - Puerto Montt/Puerto Varas - Bariloche - El Calafate - Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine - Punta Arenas - Ushuaia - Buenos Aires - Iguazu Falls -Buenos Aires - Home!

I’ve also met a lot of dogs. Street dogs are kind of a problem here. They’ve been following us everywhere. The one below followed me for four hours. I named him Two Socks and started referring to myself as Dances With Wolves.

Day 2 is done.
